Extreme Ends of Infinity

I don't claim to be physicist, nor do I claim to be on the utmost of understanding of this universe. I do however, feel awe of two extremes in our lives. The infinity of the universe with its vast scale, and the seemingly infinity of the neutrinos, quarks, and whatever else is there.Sojourner already left its mark in Mars and other spacecraft by humans are now already traveling across solar system and beyond, with robots onboard. It was amazing to see the surface of another planet called Mars, Those pictures seem surreal, evoking a sense of wonder that boggles my mind. Can't wait to see when humans will set foot on those grounds. It is as if they are waiting for us to explore the planets.I have no doubt that the future of human civilization will be out there, amongst the stars. After all, we are composed of the starstuff, so it is only natural that we "return" to where we came from.

It is with great sadness for me to think that this future achievement will probably not occur in my life time, or we humans are moronic enough to destroy ourselves in our seconds here in the universe.
