Beautiful Poem

I am reading this book and I thought that this is one of the poems which is quite profound, at least in my opinion. Hope to share this with everyone. This is a translated one obviously, as the original is in Arabic. The poem was written by Hasan Al Bashri, one of the prominent scholar and sufi known in the history.

I know, my bounties will not be taken away by anyone
Thus, my heart is content

I know, my deeds cannot be done by others
Thus, I busy myself with work and good deeds

I know, The Mighty One is watchingThus, I am embarrassed to do bad deeds
I know, death awaits for me somewhereThus, I am preparing my sustenance before my meeting with The Mighty One.

As I mentioned previously, such conviction above is rare, not everyone has it. Only those who have found the Path will be able to journey through this world safely to the end. May we put our best effort to be reach the right way and stay on it.
