What is Your Attitude Toward Death

And once again, I am drawn to writing about death. This time, I would like to talk about how our values can shape our behavior toward death.
I had this interesting, if not poignant conversation with a Japanese person of middle age. She expressed her fear and worry about death, and she mentioned the fact that she did not know what to expect when that happens. I realized at that moment, how our values are so different, when it comes to understanding and realizing this moment of eternity that EVERY LIVING SOULS must go through.I really believe that we should not be afraid of death, but at the same time, from what I understand, I need to prepare myself to the fullest so there will be sufficient provisions that I will carry to the grave. Ironically, young age tends to cloak this necessity to prepare, as youths have this false of invincibility about them. They think nothing can stop them and the world is up for grabs. Most of the time, we would be already late in age when we realize that we have not had the proper preparation for the moment of TRUTH. Of course, as always, it is always better to be late than never. So the outcome of one's values and beliefs will determine how "healthy" your attitude is toward death. May yours be one of those "healthy" one!
