Thoughts of Miracle
"Do we Need a Miracle to prove our faith in God?"
Sounds like a heavy title, eh? We live a very interesting age and time indeed. It is getting harder to fill ourselves with wondrous imagination and make a connection to God in everything that surrounds our lives. We so pride ourselves with our achievement in science and technology, and make it our new deity.
Yet, with every citizen on this planet get more connected every second, with the flood of information that inundates our five senses everyday, we cannot deny that we seem to be more isolated and detached more than ever. Looking back in history, we found out that there was a jump in "God activities", a more direct connection between God and His/Her subject from the time of Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Mohammed SAW, Buddha. These great individuals somehow were able to make that connection to their Creator, spawning what we know now as major institutionalized religions of the world. During their times, God appears to be affecting people in a less subtle way. Through these great Men (unfortunately no women here :) ), His/Her laws were spoken, written and followed by billions of people in a much later time.
I am not too certain why God activities seem to take a more subtle approach, back of seat type, as we humans proceed in our lives, "enlightened" by our technology. What happens now, or so it seems, humans want to become gods themselves, unfortunately, without the wisdom to make things better and without God somehow interfere and correct our ways.
I don't profess to know the answer to the heavy question of why this is the case, I just want to emphasis the point that if we claim to have a dose of faith in God within ourselves, we perhaps need to ponder and make an effort to ensure that the connection to Him/Her is regained.
