We Shall Never Forget!

The past week has been filled with news about 60th commeration of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bomb. I watched a program which explained about the bomb victim and their struggle to lead a normal life after all these year.

It was quite a heart wrenching program, especially looking at the pictures of people who were maimed/decapitated/pulverized as a result of the bombing. Skins damaged beyond repair that one of the patients have to continuously go through medication, even to this day. Imagine having your skin so brittle that it will break if you so much gain one kilogram.....

I wrote in my previous writings how nuclear bomb could be the catastrophy that would end all humanity, I am stressing it again now. We shall never let this device proliferate, at any cost. I am glad Indonesia decided to forgo the military development of nuclear warheads, I hope that we can eliminate this device some day, before we trigger it to eliminate ourselves. May the memory of Hiroshima and Nagasaki lives amongst us and we can pass it on to our generations. At the end, we are all humans, we deserve happiness in this life and hopefully in the hereafter.
