Why Question Him???

Each time there is a disaster and calamity happening somewhere on this planet, I always see someone, be it on TV or articles in magazines and newspapers, who question the motives of God in doing so. How can God be this cruel or how He/she can inflict such catastrophies etc. etc.
Frankly speaking, I find this questioning to be a bit ridiculous actually.
I truly feel that we are too feeble to ask this type of question. It is really not in our place to question the design that has been imposed to us by God. Yes, I mean imposed. It is not our choice where calamities occur, it just is. One point to note lthough, perhaps we have something to do with the fact that the Earth's water temperature seems to be increasing. Perhaps not, who knows....

Perhaps this is a strange concept, especially for those who claim to possess no "traditional" belief systems. But for me, His motives are not something for us mere humans to ponder. We can only pray that the next calamities do not befall on us, that we somehow learn a lesson from them and be a wiser, better person somehow. Let Him works His ways and for us not to judge and question.
