Waiting for The Savior
Do you know what Hindus, Jews, Christians and Muslims in the world all have in common when it comes to waiting? At the very least, approximately 4.5 billion human beings on Earth who profess those faiths, which currently represent about 78 percent of Earth's population, are waiting for The Savior in various forms:
- Hindus believe that Lord Vishnu will do the last reincarnation, which is the tenth time, to wipe out all that is evil and restore justice and order
- Jewish also believes in the eventual return of a Savior, who will unite all their people and make their tribe powerful and influential once more.
- Christians are awaiting for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, again, to eradicate evil and restore peace and order.
- Lastly, Muslims believe in the eventual return of not one, but two individuals, Imam Mahdi and Isa Al Masih AS (which is actually Jesus Christ), with the main goal exactly the same as above.
Out of the four mentioned above, only Hinduism are not based upon Semitic religion, which I found quite interesting actually. Why? Well, because other than the Semitic religion, it would appear that "Earth based" religions/practices have no concept of Savior, as found in Shintoism, Taoism, Buddhism or Confucianism.
So....more than half are waiting for something big to happen......If and when that occurs, I would find it to be a really exciting time indeed. At the same time, it would also mean the end of world is very near, so on the contrary, it would be also full of chaos prior to that perhaps. Regardless, if I had a choice, I think I would rather be there and experience it :)
